Winter Shadow Work: Healing the Sacred Self (SOLD OUT/Wait List)

  • Private Residence East Haddam, CT United States (map)

Shadowwork is a concept that has its roots in the field of psychology, particularly in the theories of Carl Jung. It refers to the process of exploring and integrating one's unconscious or shadow self. The shadow self consists of all the aspects of our personality that we repress or deny, such as our fears, insecurities, and dark desires.

Winter is often associated with hibernation, laziness, and a lack of productivity. However, winter is the perfect time for shadow work – a self-reflection and personal growth process. Instead of succumbing to the gloomy weather and staying indoors, let’s embrace this season as an opportunity for introspection and inner transformation.

In this season of stillness and darkness, we have an opportunity to realize the gifts found in solitude. It is during these moments that we can truly connect with ourselves on a deeper level. We can rediscover our passions, dreams, and desires that may have been overshadowed by the busyness of life. Shadow work allows us to connect with what’s deeply important to us by shining a light on the darkness.

Let us embrace this season as an invitation for self-reflection. Let us learn from nature's wisdom and allow ourselves the space needed for personal growth. By drawing our attention inward during winter’s sacred time of reflection, we can emerge eefreshed, rejuvenated and stronger as we enter into a new year filled with endless possibilities.

We welcome you into the darkness with loving open arms.

What You Can Expect
