Discover Mystic Brews & Literary Views Book Club

A quiet circle. A cup of tea. A story that stirs something deep.

Now in its second year (2025/2026), Mystic Brews & Literary Views continues to grow as a book club for women drawn to meaningful stories, soulful conversation, and the quiet power of gathering in rhythm with the seasons. Each month, we read novels rooted in magic, history, mystery, and strength—and meet in small, thoughtful circles to reflect, sip tea, and share what the story stirred in us.

This year, our reading journey is gently organized by season and theme:

  • Fall invites us into stories of intuition, thresholds, and inner fire.

  • Winter holds space for memory, stillness, and quiet transformation.

  • Spring opens the door to healing, mystery, and becoming.

  • Summer celebrates freedom, friendship, and feminine power.

Because of the beautiful response last year, we’ve expanded into several smaller local chapters. When you register, we’ll gently place you in a group near your location to help nurture deeper, lasting connection close to home.

New this year (2025/2026): Each book selection comes with a suggested tea pairing and a curated reflection guide—a blend of discussion questions and quiet prompts to bring to your group or explore on your own. Whether you're gathering around a kitchen table or reading quietly by candlelight, you’ll be held in the spirit of the circle.

Wherever you are in your reading life, there’s a place for you here. Come as you are. Bring your voice, your wonder, your favorite mug. Let’s begin.

Book Club Etiquette & Gatherings

Our book club circles are intentionally small—just six to eight women—to create space for meaningful conversation, quiet connection, and deep listening. Each gathering is a blend of story, sisterhood, and seasonal rhythm.

To support that experience, we offer the following as gentle suggestions, not rules—shared intentions to help our time together feel warm, grounded, and welcoming for all:

Flow of the Evening (2½ hours)

  • 30 minutes for settling in with tea, small bites, and casual conversation

  • 60 minutes for focused discussion of the book

  • 30 minutes for unstructured sharing, story-weaving, or lingering with each other

Holding the Space

  • Welcome different perspectives with kindness

  • Allow space for every voice—listen as much as you speak

  • During our structured discussion time, we stay with the book itself

  • Let conversation unfold, rather than lead or direct it

Nourishment & Celebration

  • You're invited (but never expected) to bring snacks or treats inspired by the book

  • Some gatherings may include simple seasonal touches or themes aligned with the Wheel of the Year—like Samhain, Yule, or the spring equinox

  • Feel free to bring a poem, quote, or small item that resonates with the story or season
