The Seasonal Table: A Monthly Women's Brunch

  • Rogers Lake Clubhouse 75 Rogers Lake Trail Old Lyme, CT, 06371 United States (map)

A Gathering of Women, Community, and Gentle Awakening
Come as you are. Bring a dish. Leave feeling nourished.

After the quiet pause of winter, we gather once more.

March invites us back into connection — with ourselves, with one another, and with the soft reawakening of the natural world. As the days grow longer and the earth begins to stir, we, too, are invited to gently emerge.

This is a time for women to come together in community.
To share a meal.
To be in good company.
To feel supported, seen, and renewed.

There is nothing to strive for here — only space to arrive, soften, and reconnect.

What These Gatherings Are

This is a welcoming, relaxed space to:

  • Enjoy nourishing food

  • Meet like-minded women

  • Mark the changing season in a simple, meaningful way

How It Works

Potluck Style
Please bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share (desserts may vary). When registering, you’ll choose a dish category to help us create a balanced table. There’s no need to cook for a large group — together, it always becomes abundant.

Please bring:

  • A dish to share

  • A list of ingredients (for allergy awareness)

  • Your own serving utensils

A fully equipped kitchen is available (ovens, refrigerator, microwave, outlets for crockpots).

We will provide plates, cups, utensils, tea, and water.
These are non-alcoholic gatherings.

Gathering Details

Energy Exchange: $25 per gathering
(Supports space, supplies, and planning. Sliding scale available — no one turned away for lack of funds.)

Bringing Your Daughter

Girls ages 12 and up are warmly welcome. These gatherings are calm, reflective, and connection-centered, so we ask that younger children not attend in order to preserve the atmosphere. There is no charge for daughters — simply bring a dish to share, or she may contribute a small item to the table. Each young woman must be accompanied by an adult.

Seasonal Touchstones

Each gathering includes a simple seasonal blessing before we begin our meal. You’re also invited (optionally) to bring a small item for our communal altar — something that reflects the feeling of early spring and gentle awakening.

Suggested altar item: Budding branches, seeds, moss, feathers, or symbols of renewal and new beginnings.

Optional March dress theme: Soft, comfortable layers in light or earthy tones — hints of green, cream, or sky blue to reflect the season’s quiet return.

Shared Spaces Within the Gathering

The Oracle & Tarot Exchange Table
Bring a gently used deck to pass along, and perhaps discover one that’s meant for you.

The Quiet Craft & Coloring Table
A quiet corner for creativity and rest. Settle in with a selection of witchy-themed coloring books, soft pencils, and quiet inspiration. No pressure to create — simply an invitation to slow down, soften, and let your hands move as your mind unwinds.

The Seasonal Ritual
A simple, guided moment to honor the season, reconnect inward, and share in the quiet presence of community.
