The Healing Forest: A 4-Week Women’s Journey of Inner Renewal Through Nature

A Four-Week Journey of Forest Bathing, Nature Connection & the Magic of the Living World

Tuesdays, August 4, 11, 18 & 25, 2026
6:00–7:30 PM ET | Live via Zoom

There is a different way of moving through the world.

A slower way.

A way that notices the changing light through the trees, the call of a bird overhead, the scent of pine after rain, and the quiet wisdom waiting in the natural world all around us.

The Healing Forest is a four-week journey designed for women who long to deepen their connection with nature and discover the restoration, wonder, and meaning that emerge when we spend time in relationship with the living world.

Drawing from the practices of forest bathing, nature observation, folklore, guided meditation, journaling, and earth-based wisdom traditions, this experience invites you to step beyond simply visiting nature and begin cultivating a deeper conversation with it.

Together, we will explore the forest as a place of healing, inspiration, mystery, and belonging. We will learn how trees, landscapes, seasons, and the more-than-human world can become companions on our path, offering perspective, comfort, guidance, and renewal.

Although we gather together online each week, the heart of this journey takes place outdoors. Whether you have access to a forest, a local park, a shoreline, a garden, or a favorite tree in your neighborhood, you will be invited to spend time in nature between sessions through guided practices and weekly invitations designed to help you slow down, pay attention, and deepen your relationship with the place you call home.

Throughout our four weeks together, we will explore the restorative practice of forest bathing, the wisdom and symbolism of trees, the folklore and enchantment woven through the natural world, and simple ways to bring nature-based ritual and reflection into everyday life.

This is not a course about learning more facts about nature.

It is an invitation to experience nature differently.

To listen more deeply.

To notice more fully.

To remember that the natural world is not separate from us, but a living community to which we belong.

Whether you are seeking inspiration, spiritual nourishment, a deeper connection with the earth, or simply a reason to spend more time outdoors, The Healing Forest offers a welcoming space to slow down, reconnect, and rediscover the wisdom waiting just beyond your doorstep.

Introduction to Forest Bathing: Reconnecting with the Living World

Tuesday, August 4, 2026

Our journey begins with the practice of Shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing—a gentle invitation to slow down, awaken the senses, and reconnect with the natural world. Together, we'll explore how spending intentional time in nature can reduce stress, restore balance, and deepen our sense of belonging.

Through guided meditation, sensory awareness practices, and simple invitations to explore between sessions, you'll learn how to approach nature not as a destination, but as a relationship.

We'll discuss the forest as a place of refuge, restoration, and wisdom, and explore how nature can support us during times of uncertainty, transition, and everyday life.

By the end of our first gathering, you'll have practical tools for bringing the calming presence of nature into your daily routine.

The Wisdom of Trees: Listening to the Forest

Tuesday, August 11, 2026

Trees have long been regarded as teachers, storytellers, and companions. Across cultures and centuries, they have appeared in folklore, mythology, and spiritual traditions as symbols of wisdom, resilience, and connection.

This week, we'll explore the language of trees through observation, reflection, folklore, and guided meditation. Together, we'll consider what it means to build a relationship with a particular tree and learn how trees can deepen our understanding of patience, presence, and belonging.

Through journaling and nature-based practices, we'll explore the lessons trees may offer when we take the time to listen.

Forest Magic: Wonder, Folklore & the Living Landscape

Tuesday, August 18, 2026

For much of human history, forests were understood as places of mystery, meaning, and enchantment. In this week's gathering, we'll explore the folklore, traditions, and symbolic language that connect us to the deeper stories of the natural world.

We'll look at the role of the elements—earth, air, fire, and water—not as forces to control, but as companions that help us understand balance, change, creativity, and resilience.

Through guided practices, storytelling, and reflection, we'll cultivate a sense of wonder and learn how paying attention can reveal the subtle magic woven throughout the living landscape.

Nature as Companion: Creating a Lifelong Practice

Tuesday, August 25, 2026

In our final week, we'll explore ways to carry the lessons of the forest into everyday life. Together, we'll reflect on what we've learned throughout our journey and consider how a simple, meaningful nature practice can support us throughout the seasons.

We'll create personal rituals and invitations rooted in observation, gratitude, reflection, and connection—practices that help us return to ourselves and the natural world again and again.

Through a closing meditation and sharing circle, we'll honor the wisdom gathered along the way and celebrate the relationships we've begun to cultivate—with nature, with one another, and with ourselves.

You'll leave with practical tools, seasonal practices, and inspiration to continue your journey long after our four weeks together have ended.
