This walk combines forest bathing, mindfulness, journaling, and an awareness of the natural world.
Have you wanted to deepen your connection with nature? Through a combination of forest bathing and journaling, these nature-based gratitude strolls provide time for self-reflection and offer meditative prompts around the practice of gratitude as we awaken our senses to the more than human world.
Gratitude has been proven to increase well-being by improving mental and physical health, sleep quality, relationships, self-esteem, empathy, and more.
As we walk, we will reflect on what we are thankful for in each moment through connecting deeply with the healing aspects of the more-than-human world, journal what we were grateful for during our walk, and reflect on why we are grateful.
At the conclusion of our walk, we will share our thoughts on the experience and enjoy a locally foraged hot tea.
You do NOT have to be a writer or regularly journal to join us - this practice is open to everyone. This walk is limited to ten people.
THIS WALK WILL BE HELD AT A PRIVATE FARM IN EAST HADDAM - THE ADDRESS WILL BE EMAILED TO PARTICIPANTS UPON REGISTRATION.
