Winter Renewal: An Online Gathering for Women in Active Cancer Treatment

January can feel like the quietest, most introspective part of winter—a time of short days, bare trees, and a world that seems to be holding its breath. For women navigating active cancer treatment, this season can amplify feelings of fatigue, emotional weight, and the profound need for gentle self-care. Winter Renewal is a 90-minute online gathering designed to be a sanctuary—a space to come together in community, to breathe deeply, reflect honestly, and find moments of softness amid the complexities of your experience.

In this gathering, we will:

  • Co-create a quiet, nurturing space with other women who understand the unique journey of living with cancer.

  • Explore the rhythms and subtle beauty of the winter season, using imagery, poetry, and stories as gentle mirrors for your own inner landscape.

  • Discover small, restorative ways to care for yourself that honor your body’s needs—through nature, warmth, quiet observation, and simple moments of tenderness—practices that are accessible even on low-energy days.

  • Reflect on the daily rituals that sustain you, sharing ideas and inspiration for carrying a sense of presence, calm, and grounding through your treatment and beyond.

This gathering is a gentle invitation to slow down, be present with your authentic experience, and forge a meaningful connection—not only with yourself but also with a community of others who truly understand the path you are on.

This offering is for all who identify as women and are currently in active treatment or navigating the immediate post-treatment phase. Participation is by donation, ensuring that anyone who wishes to join can do so.
