Weekly Themes:
Week One
Tuesday, September 9: Entering the Season — Grounding & Slowing Down with Nature
As summer fades and the first signs of autumn emerge, we’re invited to notice the quiet changes unfolding around us—and within us. This week marks our gentle entry into the practice of forest bathing, beginning with the art of slowing down and awakening the senses. You’ll be guided into simple practices that invite presence: feeling the earth beneath your feet, listening to the wind in the trees, breathing with the rhythm of the land. Together, we’ll explore how the seasonal transition supports inner transition—how attuning to the slower rhythms of autumn can gently guide us back to ourselves. Grounding with nature helps regulate the nervous system, quiet the mind, and open the door to deeper listening—both to the earth and to your own inner voice. As the world around you softens and turns inward, the forest becomes a steady, compassionate mirror for your own quiet transformation.
Week Two
Tuesday, September 16: Tree Wisdom — Listening to the Forest & Honoring Ancestral Presence
Trees are ancient beings—rooted in myth, medicine, and memory. Across many traditions, they are seen as guardians of time, connectors between worlds, and holders of ancestral knowledge. In the Celtic wheel of the year, each season is aligned with sacred trees that carry distinct energies and teachings. As we move deeper into autumn, we’ll explore the qualities of trees such as Hazel, the keeper of wisdom and poetic inspiration, and Vine, associated with harvest, intuition, and spiritual initiation. These trees, among others, offer archetypal guidance during this threshold time.
This week, we turn to the forest not only with our senses, but with reverence—learning to recognize the presence and personality of individual trees, and listening for their subtle communication. You’ll be invited into relationship with a tree in your local landscape, allowing it to become a companion for reflection, grounding, and connection.
We’ll also explore the folklore and spiritual symbolism woven through the Celtic Ogham tree calendar, connecting with the idea that trees can serve as bridges to our ancestors—offering insight, remembrance, and support. This is a week for deep listening, intuitive attunement, and honoring those who came before. As the veil begins to thin with the turning season, the trees become quiet allies, standing with us between the worlds.
Week Three
Tuesday, September 23: Elemental Magic — Working with Earth, Air, Water & Fire
The elements are not only present around us—they live within us. In autumn, their energies begin to shift, offering new invitations for reflection, release, and quiet transformation. This week, we’ll explore how earth, air, water, and fire move through the forest during this season of turning, and how they can become active partners in your personal journey.
Through guided practice and reflection, you’ll be invited to connect with one element in your own local landscape—listening for how it wishes to meet you and what it might be offering you right now. We’ll explore unexpected ways to partner with these elemental forces—as allies in your healing, teachers of balance, and reminders of the wild intelligence that lives in both nature and in you.
Tuning into the elements during autumn helps us come into right relationship with change—to not resist it, but to move with it. These energies have always been part of the natural world’s way of adapting, transforming, and remembering what truly matters. This week is about reclaiming those relationships—intuitively, gently, and with reverence.
Week Four
Tuesday, September 30: Release & Renewal — Autumn Rituals for Healing & Letting Go
As the trees release their leaves and the light continues to wane, we are reminded that letting go is not a failure, but a sacred and necessary part of the cycle. In nature, release is not rushed—it’s quiet, deliberate, and wise. This week, we turn toward that truth and begin to honor our own season of shedding.
Rituals are one of the oldest ways humans have marked change, created meaning, and bridged the seen and unseen. They help us slow down enough to feel, to name what matters, and to connect more deeply with the land, our ancestors, and ourselves. A ritual doesn’t need to be complex or grand—it only needs to be intentional. A small gesture, when made with heart, becomes powerful medicine.
Together, we’ll explore what it means to create personal, earth-rooted rituals that reflect your unique experience of transition. You’ll be guided in shaping a ceremony that speaks directly to something you are ready to lay down—whether it’s an old story, a grief you’ve been carrying, or a way of being that no longer fits. You’ll have the chance to offer it back to the earth with reverence, trusting in nature’s capacity to compost and renew.
We’ll also explore rituals of harvest and gratitude—acknowledging what you’ve gathered or grown in this season of your life, and how you might tend it moving forward. You may choose to work with symbolic objects, handwritten reflections, breath, or scent—letting the forest be both witness and co-creator in this closing ceremony.
This final week is about integration. It’s about making space for what’s true now, and gently beginning to imagine the path ahead. Through ritual, we root into the sacred rhythm of the year’s turning, discovering that endings are never just about loss—they’re also invitations into new forms of presence, clarity, and becoming.
