This month we welcome yoga instructor Jesse Gleason to our Gathering to lead us in an uplifting mix of sacred movement, breathwork, mantra & meditation in nature.
Jesse has been walking the yogic path for 20+ years. Kundalini yoga is a beautiful mosaic of movement, asana, breath, devotion, mantra, prayer, and meditation. This ancient healing practice awakens and connects you to the divine energy within yourself, so you can achieve a life full of lightness, joy, and boundless love.
We all face triumphs, wins, hardships, and challenges throughout our lifetimes. Kundalini guides us in reacting to the ups and downs from a more neutral headspace. This ancient healing practice was the first yoga ever created and activates specific parts of your brain that increase awareness and generate more balanced control. Through breath, specific movements, and timing, this practice increases the nervous system on a cellular level and your energetic awareness.
Our Goddess Gatherings provide us women with a gentle, respectful, and magical space where we can rediscover, nurture and take time for ourselves. A circle can recharge us with energy when we feel weak and helps us remember the power and wisdom of feminine energy. It is also an opportunity to connect with other women on the same path of inner and personal development, supporting us in achieving our goals and dreams.
If you are new to the shoreline, looking to meet like-minded women, form new friendships, or simply need to recharge your batteries, please join us.
We will begin our time together in the circle with an opening meditation, followed by check-in (how are you, how was your month), leading into a discussion on our topic. We will enjoy a shared meal together, and there will be reflective time in nature to journal. We will close the circle together, releasing energies and giving thanks.

It is common to see Kundalini Yoga teachers and practitioners wearing white, loose-fitting clothing, ideally of natural fibers. But in a Western yoga world of spandex and leggings, why is this?
Kundalini Yoga is geared towards increasing sensitivity, enhancing bioelectricity, and strengthening the nervous system. Wearing white is another tool to strengthen your projection and conscious awareness.
Symbolically, wearing white is an invitation to deflect what’s going on outside of us and turn inside for answers and guidance. Literally, the pigment in the color white is reflective. This protects your aura and positions you to center your practice and power.
If you are curious, you may like to experiment with wearing white and pay attention to how you feel.
At the core of the practice of Kundalini Yoga is awareness. Wearing white is an opportunity to explore your awareness and deepen your subtle observations.
The experience is yours. Simply notice any changes.
