Working with the trees of Celtic Ogham (a Celtic tree divination system), which the druids of the old world created using the wisdom of the forest, we will spend a beautiful morning together connecting with the Dryad (spirit) of the woods.
Through a gentle forest bathing walk, guided meditation, and tree oracle cards, you will journey to meet and communicate with a special tree. You will spend time connecting quietly with the trees during our walk, connecting with the trees on a physical level, and beginning to create a spiritual connection. Later in the morning, you will spend time in the forest connecting with your special tree during our sit spot time.
Tree communication can help us understand some of the currents swirling in our lives, or the tree may ask us for help. The wisdom we gain from the tree helps us access gifts that can add to or direct us on our life journey and uplift our spirit. Everybody’s experience will be memorable and unique to themselves, and you may find that this experience will profoundly affect your life for years to come.
This is a day of remembering our relationship with the spirit of the forest, nature, and our Mother Earth. We use meditation, walking with the trees, and openhearted sharing with others to lift our spirits and move forward more clearly in our lives.

Ogham History and Folklore
The name Ogham(Oh-mm or sometimes pronounced as oh-am) comes from Ogma, meaning the Celtic God of Elocution or fine speech. The Ogham alphabet consists of groups of lines from one to five, set across a vertical stem line, each representing a different letter. Each Ogham corresponds with a tree and can have various symbolic meanings.
The Ogham script is Ireland’s oldest written alphabet, and there is still much speculation about when the script originated. Some scholars date Ogham to the 1st century AD; others believe it dates from the 4th Century. It is thought that the Ogham alphabet originated in southwest Ireland, possibly around Cork or Kerry. Although they are disappearing, you can still find stones with Ogham carvings today. Many of these stones share practical information that marks out land ownership. There are also references in Irish folklore to Ogham being used for much less mundane purposes by the Druids.
The Ogham is known in many magickal circles as the “Celtic Tree Divination system.” Others delve into the use of the Ogham to mark out the “Celtic” calendar and the Witch’s Wheel of the Year.
